For families and friends going round together, you only need to enter one name per map & SI Card is required. You can amend the "group name" at Registration on the day if you want.

**If you are entering a family of individual runners and it comes to more than £17 (£22 for non-members) then please contact the organiser after you have paid for the individual Senior, or Junior/Student entries and we will arrange refund of the difference. Parents accompanying children go free.

SI timing card hire is free but are charged at a replacement cost of £30 if lost.

An afternoon of fun and frivolity in Portadown over the sprint course distance.

2 runs for the price of one: 3 classes available: Open, Medium, Short

The second course will have a chasing start, with the leaders from the first course starting first. You will Be given your second course start time when you download after your first course. The times for the two runs will then be combined to give a final result for each runner

Parking  – Edenvilla Multi Sports Pitch Facility, Bachelor's Walk, Portadown (What 3 words: safety,movie,spirit)

Registration – Not required if using own SI Card - proceed directly to start. Hire cards can be collected at enquiries from 2pm

SIACs -  SI Air is not enabled.

Starts –  Start times are in 15min blocks with punching starts

Finish & Download: After finishing proceed to the Download and then disperse to maintain social distancing.

 

Coronavirus Safety Measures

A number of measures have been put in place to provide for Social Distancing and ensure your safety throughout this activity. Here is a link to the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct which all participants are expected to have read beforehand and adhere to.

The main aspects for this event we would like you to pay attention to are:

  • At the Start please maintain social distancing.
  • During the event please use the hand sanitisers provided to maintain hygiene
  • Do not touch the SI Control boxes except with the SI Card
  • During the race please be aware of who is around you and try to maintain distance, especially when approaching Controls
  • As we are using public parks please be mindful of other park users and give them space
  • Please minimise pre and post-activity socialising and maintain your distance

IMPORTANT in line with current NI Government advice You MUST NOT attend the activity if you are unwell with a cough, fever or other Covid symptoms OR  if you have tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 5 days. 

If you have had Covid or been in close contact with someone who has it within the last 10 days please take extra care around other people in case you are still infectious. 

If you have a condition that makes you Clinically Vulnerable, please follow current government and medical advice before registering. 

Withdrawals and Refunds: Any requests for refunds submitted before the closing date for each event will be minus £3 per person.

Event Cancellation: Should we have to cancel the event we will refund the entry fee minus £3 per competitor.
