A circular walk linking the forests of Hainault, Hatfield and Epping.
Challenge Certificate: Certificates will be issued to all who complete the route in the specified times.
Object: To complete 54 miles (incorporating 5 checkpoints) in 23 hours
Start Times: Walkers: 0900 - Runners/Fast Walkers 1000 All entrants must finish by 0800 on Sunday morning
Retirement: If you have to retire please do so at a checkpoint and notify a marshal.
Venue: Lambourne End Activity Centre, Manor Road, Lambourne End, Essex RM4 1NB. (Map LR 167 TQ481 946)
Refreshments: Tea, coffee, biscuits at start. Drinks and snacks at checkpoints. Hot meals will be served at Sawbridgeworth and a breakfast at the end. All refreshments/meals are included in the entry fee.
Equipment: Route description/GPX file will be available on the Essex/Herts webpage 7-10 days in advance of the event. You are advised to bring a map (Landranger 167 or Explorer 174/183), or GPX device, compass, torch, adequate clothing and footwear and a small first aid kit. Please bring your own mug. There will be no mugs at checkpoints.
