The Merthyr Half Marathon

We know it's not always easy to make it to race day in one piece, or sometimes other events get in the way.  We do not operate a blanket no refunds policy and we aim to be generous with our cut offs as possible which is why we have the below policy.  We must enforce the below strictly to ensure the future of the event go ahead.

The Policy:

3 months or more until the event = Refund (minus £3 admin fee), Deferral or Transfers possible.

If you inform us of circumstances that change within 3 months or more a full refund can be issued minus a £3 admin charge. Please contact us at info@merthyrhalfmarathon.co.uk  You may also defer your entry (see below) or transfer to another runner (see below)

3 months or less until the event = Deferral or Transfers possible 

If you are unable to run our event then you can defer your place until the following year or transfer the entry to another runner.  You can transfer via your SiEntries account.  The two runners transferring their entries will arrange payment and Merthyr Half Marathon holds no accountability for monies lost.  For deferrals please contact us directly at info@merthyrhalfmarathon.co.uk 

1 month until the event = No Refunds, Deferrals or Transfers possible

No refunds, transfers or deferrals can be made within 1 month of our event.
