The Mercia Hill Trial is a navigation event on the Shropshire Hills. The 2019 event will consist of two linear orienteering courses. The route you take is up to you - navigate via the checkpoints in the correct order to the finish as quickly as you can.

The Roe Valley 5 Miler Trail Runs an undulating course along the scenic banks of the River Roe with the start and finish at the Roe Valley Country Park Centre.
There will be 2 races. 8.4 mile race which is 2 laps of the course and a 4.2 mile race which is 1 lap. These races will take place just before the Last One Standing Race.
The 'Last One Standing' is a race where competitors have 1 hour to complete a 4.2 mile loop. Competitors must be at the start line ready to start the loop again on the hour, every hour until only one competitor remains.

Our latest event is Dark Run, now in its second year. Think Park Run but in the dark, the course is 5000m (5K) long. The event is based near Dalby Forest Courtyard, Low Dalby, Pickering. This year we have full professional electronic timing.

Lancaster Duathlon is based at GreenLands Farm Village (which is great for spectators) . The event is a 5km off road run, 20km off-road bike or 24km road bike & a final 5km off-road run. All sections are a bit 'lumpy' but that's part of the fun right!
The Parbold Duathlon is back on 17th March 2019, starting at 8:30am. The event will be based at the Farmers Arms Pub, Bispham, Parbold, Lancashire and starts with a 5k run followed by a 27k cycle and a final 5k run.

This well known season opener is back for the 2019, a great event for all types of riders Start your season with a challenging and a testing 65 Miles.
The Burgess Hill Sportive is SRS Events opening event of 2019 sportive series. All three routes take place on the wonderfully scenic roads of Ashdown Forest with the longest ride of 71 miles taking in hills such as Kidds Hill and the infamous Cobb lane
The routes start in either Sowerby Bridge or Manchester (Lancashire) and all finish in Sowerby Bridge (west Yorkshire). They cross the Red Rose County and finishes in the White Rose County.
The race follows an undulating course that takes you around Merthyr Tydfil and the surrounding countryside, The race starts and finishes at Merthyr College.
Can you run between Dublin and Belfast in 36 hours? This is your chance to try the 173km road route.

2 Day Basic Navigation Techniques (Bronze Award for the NNAS)
The 'KVK' is the first and only Vertical ascent based based race in the South West. Two laps of a specifically designed course to reach the magic number of 1000m (a Kilometer!) of ascent. 15 mile total distance of inland hills and coastal running.
Enter the KVK Team relay race with a friend and split the full race - in half each! One of you starts, does one full lap of the figure of 8 route then swaps with your Team member for them to do the other figure of eight loop. A total of 7.5 miles each.
This is the sixth LM42. Under hyped and aimed solely at those with good mountain running and 'hill skills'..this is no tame trail race! You will be going over mountain summits, on mountain trails, so good basic navigational skills will be required.

A four lap (two lap for the half) Garmin measured marathon around Druridge Bay Country Park. The route includes closed roads, beach and trails. It is predominantly flat.

From Wey Valley School, Broadwey, Clockwise route through some of most attractive areas of Dorset including Langton Herring, Abbotsbury, Loders, Toller Porcorum & Dorchester. At 56 miles is shorter than the 2013, but this is still a very demanding route.

Clitheroe Triathlon is a challenging course set in the Ribble Valley. It starts with a 400m pool swim, the bike is a 30k 'lumpy' ride to includes the climb up Jeffrey Hill, onto Longridge Fell. The run is relatively flat, it's 8k out and back on road

The start of the 2019 Grand Union Canal 145 mile Race will be 06:00 Saturday 25th May, Spring Bank Holiday weekend.
The Northumbria group of the LDWA is proud to have been given the honour of hosting the annual hundred mile walk during the weekend of 25th – 27th May 2019. Starting in Hexham the route visits Cumbria and Durham before returning to Hexham.
A classic fell race on a remote Scottish island. The Isle of Jura Fell Race is one of the toughest challenges in British fell racing. 28km, 7 mountain summits & 2370m of climbing over unrelenting technical terrain. Experience and hill craft required.
A new ultra in the Isle of Skye, the terrain is tough but includes spectacular mountain and coastal scenery. 74 miles with 4460 meters of ascent. If you are lucky, you may catch the sight of a minke whale or a golden eagle!
The Hardmoors 110 Ultramarathon follows the dramatic Cleveland Way National Trail encircling the North Yorkshire Moors & the Cleveland Heritage coastline. Starting in Filey competitors will have 36 hours to complete the 110 mile single stage trail race
Whinlatter 10k is an approximately 10k trail race open to runners and nordic walkers set within the boundaries of the beautiful Whinlatter Forest, near Keswick in the Lake District. The race takes place on Saturday 25th May at 7.30pm.

The Austwick Amble Fell Race is a 13km loop in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park and takes in the spectacular scenery of Crummockdale. Held in conjunction with the Austwick Streetmarket it can be combined with a great day in the village.

The annual Swaledale Marathon passes through some of Swaledale's finest scenery. The 23 mile course is a fell run / challenge walk event - competitors must navigate themselves and complete the course within 10 hours. Organised by Swaledale Outdoor Club.

The Grand Tour of Skiddaw is an approximately 44 mile fully waymarked ultra trail race taking in the beautiful Northern Lake District with a climb up the mighty Skiddaw at the approximate halfway point, giving a total of 7136 feet of ascent.
A 4.2 mile loop on trail. Starting at 12 noon, runners will have 1 hour to complete a loop and be at the starting line ready to go again after 60 minutes - . This makes the event more difficult who will be the last one standing?, Pacing is everything!
The Final race in the Due North Trilogy. A shorter version of the 2018 Sharphaw Metric Marathon. The race starts with a climb over Sharphaw before dropping down to the picturesque village of Hetton.
The Harvest Hobble is a 26 or 13 mile walk or run on footpaths, tracks and some minor roads in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It follows part of the Viking Way as well as some lesser used paths. Participants are allowed up to 10 hours to complete the route.
