Kong Mini Mountain Marathon Round 4 - North Wales

The Kong Mini Mountain Marathon series 2021 comprises of three x 4 hour fell running & navigation score events in the Lake District and North Wales (Peak District race was cancelled this year). Best 2 results count towards a final league score with great prizes.
Each event is a challenging and testing event across moorland, fell or mountainous terrain. As it is a score event everybody can set out a route that matches their ability. Strong Walkers are welcome as well.
The final round of the 2021 Kong Mini Mountain Marathon series will take place in South Snowdonia. Thanks to Eleanor Johnstone for suggesting this lovely and quiet area - very runnable if you stick to paths ( that’s all I’m saying!) . The parking is at Llanbedr airfield with registration at the Llanbedr village hall. It’s quite a walk to the start so you can work up an appetite for the soup and cakes afterwards.
Registration opens at 7:30 am on the day. Start in selected 15 mins time slots between 8 am and 10:30 am. Try to arrive at registration at least 30 minutes before you intend to run. At the start line you will be give a waterproof map and a control description / value sheet. The course remains open until 3:00 pm.
After the race there is plenty of time to share your stories with your fellow competitors over a hearty lunch with homemade soup and cakes.
