After a succesful first event in 2019, the Tour of The Machars for 2020 was cancelled due to Covid 19 lockdown. We expect the event to be even better in 2021.

Short route of 35 miles (56km), Long Route of 66 miles (116km) on quiet roads.

HQ at local Rugby Club with free parking, changing rooms, and showers.

Feed stops on both routes. Tea/coffee, sandwiches and tray bakes at the Finish.

Timed certificates for all finishers.

Event is suitable for all with an appropriate level of fitness. Electrically assisted bikes may be used but must be declared when entering.

If entrant is under 18 years, parent/carer must sign consent form at Registration. No unaccompanied entrants under 16 years.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Newton Stewart with support from local Cycling UK members in aid of Prostate Cancer.
