Start/finish at Burbage Institute, Buxton SK17 6UL, grid ref SK044729. 

A choice of 24 mile and 13 mile routes. The long route goes through the western Peak District and includes Axe Edge, Goyt Valley, Shining Tor, Lamaload Reservoir, Kettleshulme, Taxal Moor and Fernilee Dam, with a total ascent of 4000ft. The short course also goes through the western Peak District, going to Axe Edge and the Goyt Valley and returning via Fernilee Dam to Buxton, with 2000ft of ascent. Both routes are mainly on footpaths and tracks and include some moorland sections.

Registration from 6.30am.

Start at 8am for all walkers and runners, and 8.30am for runners on the 13 mile course. All entrants must finish by 7.00pm.

We welcome under 18s on the event but they must be accompanied by an responsible adult. By submitting an entry for anyone under 18 you accept the responsibility for this.

The routes are currently being checked and all route information is being updated.

As parts of this walk are in areas of the Peak Distict National park and over moorland, please ensure that you wear or carry adequate equipment for the terrain and weather. You may wish to include suitable footwear, waterproofs, warm clothing, map, compass and whistle.

Refreshments at checkpoints and at the finish a hot meal.

For entrants with dietary requirements we can cater for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free, please use the tick boxes when you complete the enter form.

Please bring your own mug to use on the event.
