Dingle Adventure Race 19th September 2021
Run, cycle and kayak across the spectacular Dingle Peninsula to challenge yourself in 2021
2021 will be the 11th year of the Dingle Adventure Race. Voted Ireland's best Adventure Race by Running Ireland. It is a great weekend on the beautiful Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. DAR attracts 1000 competitors over the 3 courses. DAR is part of the National Series in Ireland for Adventure Racing.
Course Options;
DAR Full; The 42 mile/ 75km. New Course for 2021. After 10 years of the old DAR course, there is a new and exciting course for 2020. You bike around Slea Head and West Kerry (35km), hike or run Ireland's second highest Mountain range Mt Brandon (15km), Bike (10km) and 2km Sea kayak in Dingle Harbour. The option of Single Sea kayaks to use for DAR Full competitors only.
DAR Sport; 26 mile/ 42km. but less than half the climbing of DAR course, 1km Sea Kayak in Double sit on tops, Bike around Slea Head, hike or run Mt Eagle and bike back to Dingle via Ventry.
DAR Mini; 15 mile/23km; 1km run to kayak, 1km Sea Kayak in Double sit on tops, 8km cycle to Ventry, 5km run Ventry beach, 7 km cycle to Dingle, final 1km run to the finish.
