This is an anytime, self supported, version of the Wellington Boot, a circular route of 100km (7,200ft of climb) on foot within 26 hours starting and finishing at Wellington Rugby Club in Somerset

The walk includes a view of the sea (unless the weather is very overcast) and with half decent visibility even a view of Wales. The route will reach heights of over a 1000ft. It will follow the Tone valley, ascend the Quantocks, drop down to Holford, re-cross the Quantocks, go through the Brendon Hills and part of the Exmoor National Park to reach Clatworthy Reservoir, travel south through West Somerset and part of Devon, follow the Culm Valley, ascend the Blackdown Hills to reach the Wellington Monument and then return to Wellington.

The route returns to that of the original event - namely via Huish Champflower and Sampford Peverell.

Please note: Cornwall and Devon group will not be providing any form of support for this event, entrants will need to arrange their own support.

The route description has been updated and a verified completion of this event will count as a qualifying event for entering the LDWA's annual hundred mile event.

Please ensure you have read the rules of this event before you enter. These can be found on the event website:
