***TRIATHLON SKILLS WORKSHOP HOSTED BY BEYOND the WATER***

Not quite sure about how to complete a triathlon or nervous about race day? Then our Triathlon Skills Workshop will help you find out everything you need to know to prepare for race day. Suitable for novice triathletes (16 years+) looking to build their confidence and pick up some new skills.

SUNDAY 23RD JUNE 2019 – LOCH MORLICH BEACH

TIME: 13:30-15:30 

Cost: £45 per person (Discount available if you have booked the Intro to Open Water through SwimWild, please request your code)

MEETING POINT – Beach end car park by the Water Sports Centre.  Please arrive in plenty of time to sort your bike and kit out.  There will be a small amount of paperwork to fill in at the start of the session.

*Please note that our workshops do not include kit

The workshop has a maximum of 16 places.  The group will be split into two groups – Groups will be selected on the day.

COACHES

SARAH WISEMAN

Sarah is an experience open water swimmer and coach holding level 2 qualifications with the ASA.  With over a decade in the leisure industry working in various locations around the UK and France, Sarah has a wealth of knowledge in swimming, fitness and exercise ranging from total beginners to training for various events and competitions.  Sarah has been fortunate to work alongside top swimming club coaches and learn to swim teachers. 

Having completed various open water swims and sprint triathlons both in the UK and abroad, Sarah was looking for something new! She completed her first marathon distance swim in 2018 and plans to participate in an English Channel Relay in 2019 and an English Channel Solo in 2021.

ALICE GOODRIDGE

Alice is an experienced long-distance swimmer and swimming coach holding level 2 qualifications with the STA / ASA.  Alice has years of experience introducing swimmers to the joys of swimming outdoors and helping people to achieve their goals.  Alice has travelled and worked all over the world. She has been lucky enough to swim in some amazing places along the way, including glacial lakes in the Arctic Circle, mountain lakes in China and Kyrgyzstan. 

Having completed some of the most iconic swims, Alice’s accolades include an English Channel solo, Length of Loch Lomond, Length of Lake Zurich to name but a few!

GREGOR GRANT

Gregor has been competing in Triathlon for nearly 30 years and coaching for over 10 years holding Level 2 qualifications with BTF.  Gregor has worked with clients both in the UK and southern France, coaching many to success in all distances up to and including Ironman. 

Having raced in over 100 triathlons in all distances, Gregor’s accolades include 5 Ironman’s, 10 half Ironman’s and representing Great Britain at 4 World Championships.  Gregor was nominated for his contribution to Triathlon and honoured to carry the Olympic torch in 2012.
